No Apple Watch? No problem, Apple Fitness+ will be available soon to all iPhone users

Apple has announced that Apple Fitness+, its fitness and wellness service, will be available to all iPhone users later this fall, even without an Apple Watch. It will be available in the 21 countries where the service is officially available. Apple has yet to launch Apple Fitness+ in India, so the announcement obviously doesn’t apply to Indian users.

Apple announced the extension of Apple Fitness+ to all its iPhone users at the “Far Out” iPhone 14 launch event. With Apple’s upcoming iOS update, all iPhone users will be able to use the company’s premium Fitness+ workout plan without owning an Apple Watch.
The update is available to iPhone users in 21 countries where the service is currently offered. Along with Apple’s latest software update, iOS 16, coming September 12, all iPhone users will get access to Fitness+. With the upcoming update, users will be able to log in to their respective iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV and watch over 3,000 studio-style fitness sessions and meditations. All training sessions are led by an all-inclusive team of trainers.
With the new software update, users will also have access to the Time to Walk and Time to Run episodes, which will be available in the Fitness app on iPhone to anyone with a Fitness+ subscription.
Fitness+ users will also be able to witness the on-screen trainer guidance, interval timing and calories burned during this process will be used to progress to the Move ring. The move ring indicates the active number of calories the user is burning.
In the coming week, Apple Fitness+ will introduce new collections as well as the fourth season of Time to Walk. An audio experience designed to help people walk more often, where some of the most influential people will share their stories, photos and music with Fitness+ users.
As of now, Time to Walk has had 58 guests including Prince William, Malala Yousafzai, Christopher Meloni, Draymond Green, Camila Cabello, Nick Jonas and several others.
Here are some of the improvements Fitness+ will get with iOS 16:

– Users can earn prizes for achieving personal bests, streaks or major milestones.
– For all those watch users who get a watchOS 9 update, they will get additional on-screen guidance along with the trainer helping with workouts such as Intensity for HIIT, Cycling, Rowling and Treadmill.
– All Fitness+ subscribers who don’t have Apple TV can use AirPlay to stream their workouts
