Annapolis, MO – Scott Schlosser & Carrie Greer killed in car crash on MO-49

Annapolis, MO (September 11, 2022) – A car accident occurred in Iron County on Thursday morning, killing two people. On September 8, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded to a crash on Missouri State Route 49.

Authorities report that a 2001 Honda Accord was traveling on Missouri State Route 49 when it collided head-on with a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to drift off the roadway and overturn.

The drivers of both vehicles, identified as 34-year-old Scott Schlosser and 34-year-old Carrie Greer, were both fatally injured. The two victims were immediately pronounced dead by the authorities on the spot.

A passenger in the Honda, 33-year-old Ashley Schlosser, was flown by Survival Flight to Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, where she was admitted with serious injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation.
