EE extends 5G network to Dewsbury

The network upgrade follows EE’s recent launch of a new range of Essentials, All Rounder and Full Works smartphone plans and aims to deliver premium connectivity for customers using the latest 5G handsets.
EE says 5G is rolling out 2100MHz spectrum at sites previously used to provide 3G signals. The upgrade aims to provide customers with an enhanced 5G smartphone experience, giving them better indoor coverage and more 5G capacity in congested areas.
Christian Thran, Managing Director of Consumer Marketing at EE, said: “To provide customers with the best smartphone experience, we are constantly upgrading and expanding our 5G network. Increasing capacity will give our customers faster speeds. and an even more reliable experience.”
